Birzeit University Friends Association and InCube Sign Strategic Agreements to Invest in Palestine’s Future Workforce

Ramallah, Palestine – The Birzeit University Friends Association has entered into two strategic partnership agreements with InCube, reinforcing a shared commitment to investing in Palestine’s future workforce by empowering students academically and professionally. The collaboration represents a forward-looking model of private sector engagement in strengthening higher education and expanding equitable opportunity.

The first agreement establishes an annual scholarship in the name of the late Professor Dr. Abdullah Haidar Mustafa Zaid Al-Kilani. The scholarship will cover tuition fees for students with demonstrated financial need, while also providing internship and potential employment opportunities within InCube. This integrated approach bridges financial assistance with hands-on professional experience, equipping students with the skills and exposure required to successfully transition into the labor market.

The second agreement focuses on enhancing students’ digital readiness through the provision of laptop computers, ongoing maintenance and technical support, and the organization of specialized training workshops. These initiatives are designed to strengthen digital competencies, improve academic performance, and ensure that students remain competitive in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

Under both agreements, the Association will identify beneficiaries according to transparent and equitable criteria, oversee the distribution of scholarships and devices, and assess their academic impact. InCube will be recognized as a strategic partner, with structured reporting mechanisms in place to ensure accountability and measurable outcomes.

This partnership stands as a leading example of sustainable, impact-driven collaboration between civil society and the private sector—advancing .equal access to education, fostering innovation, and contributing to long-term economic resilience
