BZUFA and Housing Bank Sign MoU for Student Support and Training Program

Ramallah – The Birzeit University Friends Association (BZUFA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance to implement the “Student Support and Empowerment Program”, which focuses on professional training, practical internships, and career guidance for students who are close to graduation.

The agreement was signed in the presence of BZUFA Chairperson Ms. Nisreen Hidmi Masrouji and Housing Bank CEO Mr. Osama Harazallah, along with representatives from both sides.

The program aims to help students and recent graduates build the skills they need to enter the job market, through hands-on training opportunities in real work environments, as well as workshops and career guidance sessions.

As part of the partnership, the Housing Bank will also contribute to reviewing training content, supporting student evaluation, and exploring opportunities for advanced training or employment for top participants.

BZUFA will be responsible for organizing and managing the program, including selecting participants, following up on their progress, and evaluating outcomes to ensure the program delivers practical value to students.

This collaboration reflects a shared interest in supporting young people and improving their chances of finding meaningful employment after graduation.
