Birzeit University Friends Association and Ministry of Women’s Affairs Advance Strategic Cooperation to Empower Youth and Women
Ramallah, Palestine – The Birzeit University Friends Association met with the Ministry of Women’s Affairs to advance strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening development opportunities for youth (both male and female) and women.
The meeting included Ms. Nisreen Hidmi Masrouji, Chairwoman of the Association’s Board, Board Member Mr. Mohammad Shawer, H.E. Minister Mona Al-Khalili, Deputy Minister Buthaina Al-Salem, and the Association’s Director General Mr. Mohammad Daoud.
Discussions focused on coordinated action between government institutions and civil society to expand economic, social, and educational opportunities for youth (both male and female) and women, emphasizing sustainable and inclusive development.
The Association highlighted its initiatives, including the “Hand in Hand” program, which equips university students with practical skills to produce and market handmade crafts, providing financial support and promoting entrepreneurial skills.
