Al-Quds Bank contributes to supporting the Friends of Birzeit University Association

“Al-Quds Bank” contributed to the charity dinner held recently by the Friends of Birzeit University Association, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of its founding, where the entire proceeds from the event will be allocated to support the Educational Scholarship Fund.

The dinner party was held in the presence of the Prime Minister, Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, Dr. Laila Ghannam, the Chairman of the Administrative Board of the Association, Muhammad Masrouji, the Head of the Strategic Planning and Digital Transformation Department at Al-Quds Bank, Zaid Jarab, and a number of legal persons.

The ceremony also included various segments and speeches by speakers who emphasized the association’s main role in providing support to less fortunate students and achieving development from the moment of its founding until the present day until it has become an extended and effective association.

At the end of the ceremony, Al-Quds Bank was honored in appreciation of its contribution. The association appreciated the pioneering role of Al-Quds Bank, represented by its continuous support for a number of activities and events that contribute to strengthening cultural, social and economic ties between the university and society and providing assistance to university students.

Al-Quds Bank’s sponsorship of this ceremony stems from the Bank’s role and keenness to support associations, and its constant and continuous endeavor to strengthen cooperation relations between the Bank and various sectors and various local bodies, in a way that serves and supports the Palestinian community and works to advance it to better levels.

The association, which was founded in 1993, has a long record of success in serving and supporting students and their academic career at the university, in addition to providing other forms of support directed to students by launching their own development projects.
